Anyone thinking of having there old tired floor restored, read this ........ 

We moved into the house 7 yrs ago and inherited the floor and wanted to have a new floor fitted but for us to do this it would of cost approx £7k a s the tiles were very expensive to replace.  Then I found Ace Tile on a website, I contacted Jon who was very quick in responding to our query.  We have never came across anybody so obliging, what a lovely hardworking man he is.  He worked tirelessly to get the job done and it was done to perfection!  We are delighted with the results and cannot thank Jon enough.  I hope he puts our before and after pictures on his website as you wouldn't believe the difference!!

"Jon was introduced to us through a personal recommendation by my Mother-in-law who had previously used Ace Tile Ltd to tile her bathroom, conservatory floor and hallway floor. 

Through this recommendation we became aware of Jon’s expertise, experience in working with the full range of natural stone and ceramic tile products and also of Jon's trustworthiness and reliability.

Initially we asked Jon to refurbish an existing downstairs bathroom and shower room which required re-grouting, re-sealing and cleaning but following this sought Jon's advice and input into the design process for our new kitchen and extension.  Accordingly Jon was able to advise us on not only the range and cost of options available but most importantly the most appropriate tiling solution for our needs.  In this case and as we were replacing and increasing the entire kitchen floor, Jon was able to recommend and install an insulated under floor heating system together with a porcelain floor tile finish.  In installing this Jon also colour sealed all grout joints to fully protect against any spills and accidents. 

To finish the work within the kitchen we also asked Jon to return a couple of weeks later in order to tile the kitchen walls in a hand made English tile.  In our case we independently sourced all of our tiling products from Clay and Rock, Tattenhall who themselves provided excellent service and advice.

"Jon provided an excellent service from consultation to the completed job and I was particularly pleased he worked within the constraints of my budget.  Not only was the floor thoroughly cleaned but the finish restored the tiles to their original character and colour.  The end result is superb."

For the renovation of my main bathroom and an ensuite, plus a completely new ensuite bathroom I selected Topps Tiles as my supplier. It was clear that the material selection warranted an experienced tiler that could handle natural slate, travertine marble and wet room construction.

Topps Tiles recommended ACE Tile Ltd and put me in contact with Jon. An appointment was made to view the workscope and Jon duly arrived as planned – always a good omen when a contractor is punctual for the first appointment. I could see straight away that Jon had a listening ear and was very sympathetic to my plans and requirements. Having paid for expensive materials, I wanted to see first class results and Jon assured me this would be the case.

Jon started work and we were soon at ease thanks to his very personable manner and trustworthy nature. It wasn't long before Jon had a house key and was working whilst we were out. There was never any mess and despite the fact that the distance from the bathrooms to the area where Jon could carry out the many hundreds of tile cuts, Jon was very diligent and mindful that this was someone's house and not just a construction site.

Jon worked with me on the designs and offered practical advice on how best to use the materials to achieve a desirable finish. He was always on time and stayed within budget.

The three rooms have all exceeded our expectations and the quality of the workmanship is superb. All Jon's advice on final finishes, treatments, grout colour etc. have all proven to be sound and the rooms all function flawlessly.
